After we graduated in 1990, I went to college at Texas A&M. I met Derek Schoepflin after coming home for the summer after my sophomore year, and as they say, that was that. Weird that we never met in high school - probably a good thing. We married in 1993, and I graduated college in 1994. After that, we moved to Waco for a couple years (miserable!), and then on to Denver for 7 years. We loved Denver, but after the birth of our 2nd baby, it was time to move home for free babysitting =). Over the years, we had both ended up in some variation of sales, specifically in home remodeling supplies - he in countertops and cabinets, me in paint. After 10 years of paint sales, I decided I needed a change. I came home to be with the kids, and start my own company. I had a tremendous amount of fun, and learned alot about myself. Derek went into real estate, finally after a decade of dreaming about it, and I joined him early this year. We are very excited about our new joint venture, and 2010 is going to be our best year yet.
