Saturday Morning (05/16/2026)Bus Tour: 10:00am to 1:00pm Come on and take a ride on the mothership—a far-out voyage for the Class of ’76. We're cruising through Austin, Texas, starting from Old to New, rolling easy past streets we once knew by heart, back when the city moved slower and the music played louder.
This is the Austin of bell-bottoms and back pockets full of dreams—of cruising Congress, hanging out on the Drag, cooling off at Barton Springs, and catching live music any night of the week.
It's Reagan and LBJ High—Friday night lights, school colors, pep rallies, and friendships that lasted longer than the songs on the radio. It's armadillos and lava lamps, UT days and long summer nights, when Austin felt like one big neighborhood and everybody had a story.
So, hop on the bus and take this ride down memory lane—through love and laughter, a little loss, and a whole lot of living.
Let the city roll by, let the memories come easy, and remember what it felt like to be young in Ausrtin, Texas—when the groove was real and the ride was good.
The Bus tour will be limted to 50 seats so do not delay your sign up. Cost is $10.00. For registration and payment please contact Darrell Crayton at DCra387753@sbcglobal.net or (512)773-4608. Drinks, Food, Laughs, Live Music with Groove Knight (and whole lotta love as we celebrate each other and our 50th Year Class Reunion. Parking is complementary.
Turn the volume up, put on your boogie shoes and get ready to move as you listen to some of the classic tunes from yesteryear as played by Groove Knight.
"Someone once asked me what makes school friendships so special. And I smiled, because it’s simple, they knew us before the world told us who to be. Those were the friends who saw our purest selves, before life got loud and complicated. No pressure, no filters, just loyalty, laughter, and the bond that grows up with you. Childhood friends don’t just hold your memories, they hold a part of you that still feels like home.”
Special thanks to the Reunion Steering committee for all the time taken to make this a weekend to remember. If we can help with any questions please reach out to us either on Facebook or email at lbjreagan1976@gmail.com
