Mindy Hendricks-Renouf

Melinda (Mindy) Elaine Renouf 
Mindy was unexpectedly called into Heaven on Saturday, April 1, 2006 in Austin,TX. She was born in Austin, Texas on August 1, 1958, and graduated from Lyndon Baines Johnson High School in 1976 where she was a member of the drill team, cultivated many lasting friendships, and met the love of her life, Jim Renouf. Mindy worked for State Farm Insurance, managed and modeled at a local modeling agency, worked for DJ sales, an electronics supply firm, and most recently, Valero. Mindy will always be remembered for her radiant smile, powerful strength, and commitment to her family. A loving wife, she was devoted to creating opportunities for her children, and worked tirelessly to promote awareness and funding for the National Association for Autism Research. Mindy was preceded in death by her father, Lyle J. Hendricks. She is survived by her husband, Jim Renouf; her children, Megan (20) and Amanda (18) Grubb, Reagan (8), Evan (7), Jori (23) and Chase (19) Renouf. She is also survived by her mother, Elaine Hendricks; sisters, Shelley Hanson, Lori Swick, and Missy Norris; brothers, Mark Hendricks and Stephen Hendricks; other relatives and many dear friends. Visitation will be between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville TX. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2006, at the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Funeral Home with Reverend John Payne officiating. Committal will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery. "You are my Hero, my best friend, and the best Mommy anyone could ever ask for. I love you, Mom." - Megan "Keep looking up. That is where miracles come from. I love you, Mommy." - Amanda "I love you, Mommy! You are the best, Mom!" - Reagan "Love you, Ma Ma." - Evan In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are encouraged to the Melinda Renouf Memorial Fund, c/o Greater Texas Federal Credit Union, Austin TX.
