Ayden-Grifton School Story:
One day Carolyn Creech told me that she wanted to sell an ad for the school newspaper to the Big Value. We decided to just jump in my car and go. While we were at the Big Value during school hours we leared that the store owner / manager was not present. We decided that it was a great opportunity for us to order double cheese burgers and fries. We waited around and finally our foof arrived at the same time as Mr. Wiggins walked in the door. We left our food on the table and scooted / hid. Mrs. Webb at the counter had a great laugh - I wonder if Mr. Wiggins ate our cheese burgers and fries that we had already paid for. When we got back to school Mr. Wiggins called for us to come to the office. Caroly Creech had to exsplain the whole thing. Fortunately, I did not hear the call from the office but I did pay for the cheese bugers and fries.
