After graduation I spent a couple years at Alfred University in NY, transfered to Gannon Univ in Erie Pa shortly after the passing of my father and graduated with a B.S. in Biology. Decided against medical school and went to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Met my wife, Lizette, there. We were in the same class and got married just prior to graduation in 1997. Moved to Maine to open our own practice. While the practice is very successful, I have recently left practice to help more people through a website I am developing. My wife and an associate doctor now run the office.
We bought a waterfront home 5 years ago on Little Sebago Lake here in Maine (just northwest of Portland) and enjoy all the lake has to offer.
I am still running and now doing ultramarathons (distances longer than marathons). In the passed year I have run 4 50 mile races and my first 100 mile race was done in July in Vermont. I will be doing the Western States Endurance Run in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California the end of next June. If you want to check it out go to www.ws100.com ...I hope to finish in the top 10.
