Life After Quigley:
After graduating from Quigley in '95, I moved to Colorado with Joe Bassilios. We lived together in Colorado Springs for two years and then moved north to Ft. Collins. I spent 5 years there Snowboarding, Fishing, and Mt. Climbing. Oh yea, I almost forgot...going to College as well. While I was there, I made some really great friends and spent my football Sundays at the bar screaming for the Steelers. But I was missing one thing...Warm Weather.
I decided to move to San Diego in March of 2002 in search of Big Fish and a sun tan. I found them both. I live five blocks from the beach and can see my office from the bedroom window. I currently hold a United States Coast Gaurd Captains License and spend my days taking clients out fly fishing for sharks. I also manage the San Diego Fly Shop in Solana Beach, Ca. I work nearly every day starting in the month of March, and continuing thru until October when things start slowing down. It's a perfect schedule for me because that's the start of football season and I still scream my head off for the Black N' Gold!!!!!
Most of my immediate family is still in Economy, so I try to get home as often as possible. Usually that's two or three times a year. I truly miss the Pittsburgh area and I know one day I will return home for good. But until then, I am going to keep working on my suntan!
