(Lamart) Alonzo Rogers

This gentleman is my 1st and bestfriend from my neighborhood. From the beginning, we were only 4yrs old and became fast friends. We played all kinds of games and built 1 tree house. We even to persuade his dog to give us a ride on his back. We climbed through drainage ditches, walk on eye-beams under bridges for fun.
Through it all, the most memorable event. We ran through my house and his house. We knew no differences between us. We ran into racism at school. He wanted to help defend. I knew people would look down upon him so I told him no and was flattered by the offer. I owe him alot because he showed me the goodness from his heart all the time. He and his mother are very outstanding citizen on God's green earth. Thanks Sue and Rodney!

Rodney was always quick witted and made me laugh. He would always say he wanted to ask me out but was scared of my boyfriend. LOL He was a sweet friend.

Does anyone know what happened to Rodney?

Rodney and Alonzo were a trip together. They kept me laughing all the time. They would dance down the halls of Southern Nash, full of fun. Then caught by Ms. Beasley.
