I sure do miss you, Buddy. We were friends from the 3rd grade, up until the day you passed away. I still think about you a lot. You'll never be forgotten. You are greatly missed by your family, friends, and me. You were loved by all of us; the ones who really knew you.....more than you will ever know. You had a very big and loving heart. You could always make me laugh and smile. You had a wonderful spirit. You were very kind and generous. You wanted everyone around you to be happy...and you always put everyone else first and whatever their needs were,,,,far above your needs and yourself. You would give anyone the shirt off of your back,,,,if you thought they really needed it. You were one of a kind, my friend. I hope your children will realize someday; just how special you were, and be able to comprehend, the infinite number of lives that you touched....just by being YOU!! I have so many fond memories of you, and of all the moments we shared. Some of the most special were of all of the trips, parades, and activities we were involved in during our "marching band days". You, Paul, and me. The 3 crazy amigos. Remember Mr. Barham? He was a trip! Always cracking jokes and making us laugh. We were so close back then. Good times....very good times. Our families were always close as well, and I am so thankful for that; I still try to go and visit your parents, and your sister,....whenever possible. My Mom talks to your Mom on the phone, at least once a week...to this day. I am so relieved to know that all of your pain and suffering is over with. You no longer have to deal with the demons, or the heavy burdens that were laid upon your heart. I wish I could have spent more time with you, Buddy. Most of all, I wish you were still here...RIP...my dear, sweet, special friend. *Gone but never forgotten.*

I think Buddy was the smallest in the class with the biggest heart.
