I have been employed with Nestlé’s for the past 21 years, the past 3 years in management. I graduated from Bakersfield College in 1982, and continued my education at California State University, Sacramento. I moved back to Bakersfield in 1985 and worked at Master Cellars Winery, as a wine blender.
I got married in 1989 and now I am divorce since 12/03/2009 “Finally”. I still have ties with East Bakersfield High School. My son Micheal, and my daughter Amanda both graduated from EB and I am extremely proud of that. I also coach football at East High, and have done so for the past 16 years. I was a part of history, when East won it’s 1st ever Valley Championship in Football in 2004.

I will never for get the prank I pull on Diana Sanford when she was a sophomore. I had my accomplice Chuck Mitchell tell her to congratulate my, because my dad had bowled a perfect game, which is 300. She approached me before 3 period as I recall, and congratulated me on my dad’s accomplishment. I gave her a confused and dazed look and paused. I told her with a serious and stunned look on my face that my dad didn’t have any arms that he lost them in an accident. She look at me and ran away crying. I had to ask someone to get her out of the restroom, so I could explain that it was just a joke. Of course Chuck always brings up the story and it is still somewhat funny.
