Rhonda was a very colorful childhood friend. She was smart as a whip and very adventurous. Always pushing the limits. She had a big heart. We had a lot of good times, crazy times. I remember when her Dad, Jack and my Dad went to a School Board Seminar in Florida....Jack brought Rhonda back a baby alligator.....For some reason I ended up helping her find her lost alligator in her bedroom, messy bedroom...of course it was dead by the time we found it. Her parents had a strict rule that before she could do anything she had to clean her bedroom. I and probably many others would end up helping her stuff more under her bed and push as much as we could in the closet....that was how she cleaned her room. Rhonda is the winner of the best French Apple Pie baker.....they were the best....This was about the limit to her culinary skills....There are so may good times that I have been remembering.
When Rhonda was in her early 20's her parents tragically died in the same day under different circumstances. This incredibly sad event changed the course of her life. She was never the same and spent the remaining time of her life reaching, wanting, and pushing the limits. Never truly happy again. My heart broke for her. We remained friends till her passing this week. We talked 3 or 4 times a year leaving a feeling of emptiness for me at the end of our conversations. I wish I could of helped her.
I will always remember her laugh and and how much fun we had growing up, so much fun. Rest in Peace and I am happy that you are with your Mom and Dad, Nonie and Mathew, again. Be happy.
I didn't know Rhonda well but I remember she was always so fun to be around and was well liked by everyone. I am sorry she had so much sadness in her life. Rest in peace!
Rhonda was my first girlfriend. Her parents took me for my first drivers license in West Covina which I failed and then went back the following day and passed. She was a sweet and beautiful young lady. Her parents where truly outstanding, kind and generous people. I remember when we lost them how saddened everyone was. The impact on her really took its toll on her. So sad she had to suffer such a loss at such a young age. I'm sure she is at peace with them now. It was a gift knowing you and your family.

Rhonda was a nice, fun classmate. She was beautiful inside and outside. I'm very sorry she had such a horrific loss of both her parents at a young age.
