Wayne was my 2nd grade boyfriend at Elwin Elementary School in Baldwin Park. I say boyfriend but I doubt that he knew this, so you might say I had a little crush. I went all the way through school with him and always considered him a good friend. I was fortunate to see him, and his lovely wife, at our 20th class reunion. He hadn't changed at all. While I was looking forward to seeing him at our 50th class reunion, I now realize that our 20th reunion is the last time I will ever see him.
I was greatly saddened when I saw that he had passed away.
Please add Wayne's name to the veterans served list as I know he served in the Navy for at least 20 years in the Submarine Service and attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer upon retirement sometime in the mid 1980s. Thanks, John Ragan
