Jeanie lived across the street from my best friend Lana Wiesner and next door to Sheila Gray. There were so many of our class that lived on the same street.She would have parties in her garage and we played spin the bottle. Jeanie later worked for my dentist and then baby sat my daughter. She was a good friend. After she moved out af state we sadly lost touch.
I also remember Ms. Hunter, Mrs. Tyra mentioned the boy-girl parties in her garage. Her parents were very nice, and it was a very special time to be young, and learning how to socialize. I too remember Lana (Otie's wife), and I believe Sheila Gray was a neighbor also. Her parties, as I look back, were somewhat of a "right to passage", and formed a lasting memory of my childhood years.....Thank you, Jean, certainly should have let you know before now....
I also remember going to the parties in Jeannie's garage. It was so much fun. Spin the bottle was a favorite. Our fathers knew each other being in the same line if work. Jeannie was always so nice to everyone and it is so sad that she's gone. Thanks for the wonderful memories and friendship!
