I am mostly a very busy stay at home mother of four. I also sell Cookie Lee jewelry part time. I like owning my own business because it allows me to make my own schedule. If I need extra money one month I just pick up extra shows. If I am worn out from the holidays for example I take a couple of weeks off. What is especially nice about this business is that I can take my oldest daughter with me to any shows and she helps by writing up the orders while I answer questions. This way I don't get homesick for my children. Most women like this job because it gets them out of the house. They get a break from the kids for a couple of hours. However I have always been the opposite I hate being away from my children even for a couple hours.
Being able to take Meghan to shows with me has given her and I special time alone together and with four kids that is hard to come by. We both love it.
