Welcome to the not yet official website of the Col-Hi Class of 1970 of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. 

This site was created by Gary Scott, class of 1970, as my gift to the class.  Brian Swearingen had contacted me about another website that I'd done thinking that he might like to do one for you all, but as far as I can tell, never got the time, or perhaps the Facebook site was working adequately enough.  If that is the case, you all may choose to stay with that one, but I wanted at least, to offer this as a supplement. 

This site is completely free and there are no obligations to go any further, there are a couple of options available that they do charge for, however we went over five years on my other site before we decided to spend any money.  The available options are to remove the advertizing that may appear on some sites (however at the time I was running FIrefox with ad blockers running and never saw them, but I'm told they were there).  Additionally Instant Messaging and Video Chat (sort of like Skype) are available, but, as I mentioned, we went over five years without seeing the need to pay for any extra options. 

Perhaps the biggest advantage is that ClassCreator.com, the hosts, have very good Reunion Planning, communication and Ticket Sales Tools.

So, that being said, I hope you will enjoy this site and find it worthwhile. If you were in the class of 1970 and are active with our classmates please consider becoming webmaster for this site.

It is a lot easier than you would imagine and a lot of fun! I had no training, no experience, and honestly, no interest in becoming webmaster, but we needed it for Sooner's 45th reunion. Give it a try, you can always stop if you don't enjoy it.
