In high school, I was not an athlete like Jolly Ferrer, I was not the class Valedictorian like Mamerto Sanchez, I was not voted Adonis just like Randy Ferrer and definitely not a hunk like Rogelio Baniqued. I was not voted best dressed, most likely to succeed, friendliest or anything else. Like many of you, I was just an ordinary kid, interested in girls and in good times.

The year, 1990 was a great year more than just our graduation year – the year we went our separate ways and begun our lives as young adults. It was the year of many other beginning. It was the year of That’s Entertainment, where the Thursday Edition composed of Smokey Manoloto, Lea Salonga, Nadia Montenegro dominated the afternoon show. It was also the year when Luzon was struck with a 7.8 magnitude earthquake during July 16 stretching the mountain of Cordillera Region and around the Central Luzon. It was also the year when Philippines first join the 1990 Asian Games in Beijing China and ranked no.13 with 1 gold and 2 silver
