Suzanne did die from breast cancer. She was pregnant with her daughter, Sophie, when she found out she had stage 4 breast cancer. She was not expected to live more than 3 months after Sophie was born but she made it to 18 months.
There will be a void at our reunion where Suzanne should be. Every guy in our class was in love with her at one time or another, and if someone says he wasn't then he is lying.
She was beautiful, inside and out. What made her beautiful, to me anyway, was the spark for life in her soul. She had a charisma that drew people to her, and she had that charisma when we were eight years old. (I'm sure she had it all her life, but that was when I met her.)

Hi All, I was lucky enough to see Suzanne prior to her getting pregnant and finding out about her cancer. We kept in touch, and emailed each other on occasion. Our emails continued though November 2006 - I wish I had kept them.
I am so sorry to hear of Suzanne's passing. My memories of her were from our Art class together with Hess. We used to discuss her relationship troubles with Rob Yonkers, and generally had a good time shootin' the breeze. I will most definitely miss her at the reunion.
