Patsy Horn Thomas

Married Joe Thomas (also from Batesville); he was in the Air Force, retired in 1982. I worked for the Air Force for 38 years as a secretary/admin asst. Retired in Aug 2010. We have made Bossier our home.

We are just now getting able to enjoy retirement -- I was sick for the first 2 years -- received a liver and kidney transplant on 8 Apr 12, and am now getting back to normal. Takes a while to get over that kind of surgery but I'm doing really well. Have to have a check up once a month, and my blood work has been good and has never shown any signs of rejection. We are planning some trips for this spring and summer and I'm really looking forward to getting out and doing something fun!
