Kirk Smart c/o '89

After Graduation I went to College and enjoyed the Fraternity life for a year. I enjoyed it so much that I was invited to leave school. I joined the United States Marine Corps and served until 1996. It was then my life changed in many ways. Since there are no companies looking for a Machine Gunner (my job in the Marines) I decided to go back to school when I came home and get my degree at SLU. Between the Marine Corps and work I have lived in California, North Carolina, South Carolina, Oklahoma, and Alabama. It was not until 2005 I found my beautiful wife, moved back to Louisiana and got married. I have everything I have ever dreamed of. Our son is a year (Aug 11th) and we have another son on the way(due March 17). Brandi, my wife, is amazing. I only hope that each of you have found the happiness I have. On the side I have been doing High School football on the radio. I have a show on New Country 100.7. It is called the Louisiana Prep Scorboard. I will be on the air from 9:30pm to 11:30. God has been Really good to me.

I do not really have one particular story in High School. There were so many by the time we were done (most standing around a keg of beer). I just remember having really good friends and enjoyed every minute of it. I always had a good time.
