I've corresponded with Larry over the last several years. He lived in Houston and I west of there in Katy. Last time we emailed, his reply on May 1 included "You pop-up in my mind every once in awhile. One of these days we will have to do lunch."
Before I got around to replying, I learned of his death. There is a lesson here, if I've sufficient wisdom to get it.
