Kristine Dietz, 61, of Patchogue, LI, died on Monday, March 7, 2011, after a long illness. Born and raised in Bayport, Kristine was the daughter of Dorothy and the late John Courtney. Kristine and her husband Jim lived for many years in East Islip before moving to Virginia for a brief time and finally to Patchogue in 2001 where she worked as the head teller at HSBC for the past six years.
Mrs. Dietz is survived by her husband, Jim, her three sons; John and his wife Leah of California, Jimmy and his wife Sandra of Bohemia and Sean and his wife Lisa of Holbrook, her four grandchildren; Easton, Cade, Aiden and Mia, as well as her mother, Dorothy Courtney of Amityville.
Friends and relatives will visit Thursday, March 10th, 7-9:30 & Friday, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at Bayport-Blue Point Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church, Blue Point. A private cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Dietz made to the North Shore Animal League America, 25 Davis Avenue, Port Washington, New York 11050, are appreciated.
