Most recently, I entered the civil service and became the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Commander, Naval Air Forces Reserve (CNAFR) in August 2009. I directly support the Aviation Logistics branch that is responsible for the Naval Reserve's 203 Navy and Marine Corps aircraft and over 60,000 professionals supporting our Naval Air Forces Reserves.
Prior to reporting to Commander, Naval Air Forces Reserve, I served as the Lead Supply Systems Analyst for Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, (SPAWAR)- Norfolk VA responsible for the implementation planning, database testing, logistics systems training and management and supply chain management system on-site implementation at 13 Naval Air Station, Aviation Support Departments (ASD). This represents approximately 50% of the Atlantic Fleet's ashore supply managements systems.
I began my professional civil service career in May 2006 as a Supply Systems Analyst at Commander, Naval Air Forces Reserve. I was promoted as the Supervisor of Supply Systems Aviation Logistics branch head in 2007.
I am a native of Saint Helena, South Carolina and a serves 20 years active duty Naval Services. I am a graduate of Navy Civilian Supervisor course, several Naval Schools and Logistic Supply Chain Management courses and the Department of Defense Leadership Course. I am the recipient of five Navy Achievements (silver star) and several other personal and unit awards from my uniformed service.
