School Story:
I was very shy in school and I don't think a lot of people knew me. If we were friends you would know, LOL. I went to Mossy Oaks til 2nd grade then Lady'd Island Elem. til 6th grade, then went to St. Helena Jr high til 9th grade then onto Battery Creek for summer school and then onto Beaufort High where I graduated in 1979. I worked my butt off to get out of school early and missed out on one more year with my school buddies. I DIDN'T miss school but I SURELY MISSED all of my buddies. I was a pirette during the water festival one year and LOVED it, I made some friends and had a GREAT time traveling S.C and the Water Festival . It was a fun year! I bowled since I was 6 years old until I was a teenager and traveled S.C to bowl in tournaments and won lots of trophies and I made lots of friends and had a GREAT time as well. MAN O MAN do I miss those days, I had LOTS and LOTS of good times whether I was skipping school or in school and believe it or not I had some good times in school, even if it wasn't the learnin part. Do ya'll remember Mrs. Lewis???
