May 20 2005 - Another Belize City man has also died as a result of being attacked earlier this week. Today the K.H.M.H. reported that Loren Dale Augustus died after battling for his life since he was shot on Tuesday near the Municipal Airstrip. Augustus, an employee of Tropic Air, was shot in the head as he rode home from work. The bullet lodged in his brain and doctors were unable to remove it. So far, no one has been charged in connection with the crime, but police say the investigation is “fully active” and they are pursuing all possible leads in the case.
