After HS I entered Hope College and studied Biology, Physics, football and beer taps (not necessarily in that order)till I realized Holland MI wasn't for me. Off to Eastern MI Univ College of Business where I earned my degree. Lived in Ann Arbor with my life long friend Shawn Pottschmidt (Mancelona '88), and eventually Shelly. Worked at both Fingerle Lumber and Busch's to pay for tuition. After grad, I ran the production mill for a flooring manufacturer till Shell and I decided it was time to move back to God's Country and get hitched. Since then it's been the fastest ten years of my life.

I recall spending a lot of different days in Eckhardt's office trying to get my fellow classmates off the hook from the previous nights shinanigans. Also, parading a Jeep-load of girls thru the mill yard during skip day, my employees still talk about that. I miss Friday night lights and the pie afterward.
