After reading Bobby File's survival of an aortic aneurysm, I had to write that I survived one too. My mother dissected on March 17, 2010 while I was driving to Bush Airport. The doctors tested the rest of my family to see if we had inherited the aortic aneurysm gene, and I was the only one to have one. My aneurysm was so large, the doctors operated immediately.
