Clara & I have been together now 6 wonderful years. We enjoy road trips anywhere in Texas. I have 3 great grand children now. 2 by grandson Casey & 1 by grand-daughter Savannah. Grandson Casey is a Sgt in the Marines Combat Engineers. Everyone else is doing great.

After my wife died suddenly and unexpectedly Sept 5, 2017, I was lost. Then, 1-1/2 yrs later; God put another wonderful woman in my life. I am truly blessed.

After college, I spent 42 years working in the Oil & Gas Energy sector. The first half of my career was Domestic (traveling all over North America). The second half of my career was International (spent traveling to over 40 countries). I averaged flying more than 100,000 miles annually for 10 years. The flying was rough but I really enjoyed working with so many different cultures; customs & traditions. Some of the trips were a bit 'dicey'. I was in Moscow (6 blocks away) when Boris Yeltzen climbed on top of a tank that had just shot their White House (Parliament building). I was almost kidnapped traveling some back, oil field roads in Colombia (early '90s). I was in Jakarta, Indonesia on 9/11 and it took 6 days to make it home. I was in Cairo during their Arab Spring & got out on Day 5. Wouldn't trade it for anything!

Proud to say grandson Casey is joining the Marines after graduation this summer. Following in his Father's footsteps, as well as uncles; grandfather; great-grandfather (WWII); & great-great-grandfather (WWI)!
