After graduation, I attended Auburn University where I received my BS in Electrical Engineering in 1994. After graduation, I went to work at Millers Ferry Powerhouse in Camden, AL, for the US Army Corps of Engineers as the Project Engineer. I got married in 1993, had my first child in 1995, my second in 1998 and divorced in 2001. I went back to school in 1999 graduating with my MS in Management in 2000 from Troy University. I am currently the Power Project Manager at Millers Ferry. I got re-married in 2007 to a WONDERFUL man (Alvin). Alvin owns the local land serveying business (Conner Land Services, LLC) and we live in Camden on the Alabama River with my 2 girls, our sweet Jack Russell, Rudi, and frequent visits by my step-daughter, Harli. We spend our summers playing on the river. We always have a house full of girls...they all seem to find their way to our house!! Alvin is a BIG LSU fan and I am a BIG Auburn fan. It makes for lots of fun come football season. Even though I bleed orange and blue, LSU's colors (purple and gold) bring back wonderful memories of life in Bellbrook.
I've recently found many of you on Facebook and MySpace and have enjoyed catching up SO much. I hate that we missed the reunion. We plan on visiting my parents in Bellbrook sometime in late July. So if any of you will be around, PLEASE let me know. I'd love to see ya!!
