Merry Christmas to everyone. Hope everyone received my e-mail about Becky Evans. My heart is very sad for John and their family. She was a special friend to me and I will definitely miss her e-mails. I so enjoyed the time I got to spend with her at this last reunion.

I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and will have a very good 2010.My family has been a little slow getting back in the groove after spending eighteen days in Italy returning the day after Thanksgiving. The trip was great and it was so nice to show our grandchildren and children were Ron's family came from. Ron and I renewed our vows in the same church his great grandparents were married in.We rented a villa for one week of the trip and it was fantastic, cheaper than the days in hotels and so much more interesting.I will try to post a few pictures soon. On a sad note, I am so sad about Becky, I so enjoyed our visits at the reunions and I will miss her so much. I had no idea she had taken a turn for the worse and what a brave woman she was to keep fighting this horrible disease. My prayers are with John and Kelly and Becky will always be remembered in my heart.

Happy New Year to all! Well, we are 8 days into the new year and I haven't broken a single resolution.......because I didn't make any! If ya don't make em, ya can't break em!
Seriously, I hope everyone is having a great new year so far. It is cold and raining here in north Fl. with possible snow and sleet in the early morning hours. Remember when it snowed in B.G. in 1977?
Take care all and remember to smile and laugh today.. it makes you look so much better!!

Guess I would feel bad about the snow and sleet in north FL but with windchills at -40 today and about 8 inches of snow it's touch. lol I remember a snowflake being on the outside grill, way back when, and that was so exciting. Maybe that's why I moved to North Dakota. The first year, my brain froze, and now I don't know any better. Don't freeze down there.

an invite to everyone for her mother's 90th Birthday Party coming up this Saturday (Feb 6.)It is at the First Baptist Church in Belle Glade from 2-4 and all are welcome.(Her computer is on the blink). So , if you can help spread the word, I am sure she , and Bryan and Anne would appreciate your help!..Margaret shared with me that Pat Williams/Hoods mother as well as John Brown Evans mother are both living on the same floor as her mother in an assisted living. Jane Evans is almost 100..geez, look how old we are???

Margaret thanks for posting about Margaret Cross's mother's birthday. Paul & I just returned from Belle Glade after attending Larry William's mother's funeral. She passed away while in an assisted living facility...the same one that Margaret was talking about in her post...last Friday I think it was. Anyway it was good to see Larry again. Tim Ervin and Debbie Norman came and we all talked about having a big get together at some point maybe at PGA. We could plan a casual weekend with anyone who would like to attend...nothing formal...no program...no set plans...just a weekend get-together. Perhaps when it's warmer & we could use the pool....keep you posted and e-mail me with your thoughts.

Brenda, As usual, you are awesome! The Reunion Photos are wonderful, and I know they took so much time. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to BGHS and our classmates. Hope to see you and everyone else very soon.

Thanks everyone. This slideshow was the easiest yet! Thanks to Vickie Brantley Vick for sending me all her weekend photos. The next time she will be our official photographer if she wants the job! Thanks Mike for adding the 2 photos. Was it easy to do? If anyone has photos that aren't on the slideshow you can add them yourself. Can't wait to get together again. When should we do it? How about just a long weekend sometime, somewhere...no program, no DJ, no plans...just come and enjoy!

I'm trying to put music on the new reunion slideshow but can't figure out why it won't play through the show. Hopefully I'll figure it out quickly. Hope everyone is enjoying the slideshow.

Okay I got the music working. Just click on the first picture & the music will play all the way through & continue to play as well as the slideshow will continue to replay itself. The only thing I had to change was allowing classmates to add their own pictures. That put the show into a different gallery without music. So...we can't have both, but if you have pictures you'd like to add...just e-mail them to me & I will add them. Thanks & enjoy the music and the show.

Paul & I attended the Memorial Service for Mike Burkett last night in Belle Glade. It was very nice and full of memories for a very fun guy that was always so full of life and dance. He will be missed. Keep Pat & her family in your thoughts....she really needs our support right now.
