Married in 1969 (1st husband)he was in service at Eglin AFB,FL which is in Ft Walton Bch. We had a son and later divorced. Several years later married Joe and my daughter Carmen was born. This is the only place I have lived other than BG. I'M A FLORIDIAN!!! My kids live in Destin (10 mins from FWB). Ronnie and is wife Leigh gave me 2 beautiful grandkids Hadleigh & Hayes. I'm a bookkeeping for my son & daughters business. Also, do the books for my husbands Flooring business. I'm semi-retired

We have a lake cottage home that we go to on weekends that is located in Vernon,Fl. I'ts an hour & half drive from FWB. It's about 80 acres out in the woods. My brother DeWight also has a house there. We really enjoy it I don't fish much but I do alot of mowing, racking and burning.

My brothers (DeWight, Mack, Kenny & Kevin) are all married with families.

DeWight & Barbara live in Troy, Al and he still teaches. They have 2 boys (not married yet). Barbara (Meeks) was a classmate of ours.

Mack & Penny lives in Indiantown. They had 3 kids but lost their youngest son in a car accident.

Kenny lives in Brundidge, AL and has 4 kids and a bunch of grandkids running around.

Kevin the youngest lives in Troy, AL. He & Michelle have 2 girls.

Daddy remarried and moved from Brundidge, Al to Bonifay, FL.

School Story:

Where do I begin.. my good old days in school. This was the biggest part of my life growing up. I was not the best student I SKIPPED ALOT... and went to West Palm and of course took some friends with me (I will not mention any names but you know who you are.. well.. I will tell you one name Susan Stephens). Of all the years I skipped I never got caught UNTIL it was the last few weeks of school. We got CAUGHT and almost did not graduate with our classmates but good old Mr Morris gave us a light punishment. On one of the band trips (staying at a hotel) I was caught jumping from one balcony to another which was quite a few floors up. My mother found out about it from Mr. Stevens when he announced it at our band banquet. I had to block out some of the things in my year books to keep my kids from reading them. They thought their mom was a good student, if they only knew. HA
I have so many good memories of my years in school with good friends like Susan Stephens, Catherine Holton & Jackie Phillips and others. Band trips, harvest queen, floats, the good old football games and dances afterwards, swimming pool and the park that so many of us went to in the summer. There are so MANY MEMORIES from elementary all the way thru high school. I want to thank my classmates for all these memories.
