I miss Angelo. We met when in 4th grade and he had recently moved to my neighborhood. Angelo, Timmy Moneghan, Joan Ellen, and myself were inseparatable. Angelo and I were childhood "sweethearts." He sure loved to dance and was quite the dresser. He died way to young at 42 years old, on May 3, 1989. Massive coronary. How sad. His absence at the reunion will be felt, fer sure.
Angelo and I lived next door to each other on William Street. I remember he had a major crush on Susan Del Grosso. He was always ready to party and loved to dance. He aways had a good time at both St. Peter's CYO dances and at St. Mary's in Nutley. He hosted a sixteenth birthday party for one of the boys where I got my first kiss (too bad I don't remember who it was from!). He also had the neatest handwriting of any boy and most of the girls in the class. I have a great picture of Angelo outside our house that I would love to post.
