Eddie Triano VIEW PROFILE

EDWIN TRIANO, of Kearny, died on Sunday, April 11, 2004. He was 58.
 
Born in Belleville, he was a lifelong resident of Kearny. He also maintained a residence in Milford Pa. He died at home in Kearny.
 
He graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelors degree in education and earned a masters degree in education from Seton Hall University.
 
He was a sergeant in the US Air Force from 1965-69 and served as chief warrant officer 3 in the US Army Reserves from 1972-97.
 
He was a barber for several years in the early 70’s for the family owned business, Quincy Barber in Kearny. He retired as a lieutenant from the Kearny Police Department after 27 years in 1994. He was currently employed as a Hudson County probation officer for the State of New Jersey.
 
He was a member of the VFW and American Legion in Kearny, Kings Court in Lyndhurst and the Port Jervis Country Club.
 
Beloved husband of Donna J. (nee White); loving father of Edwin Jr. and Kimberly Triano; dear brother of Richard, Patrick and Thomas and Dorothea; also surviving are his cherished grandchildren, Taylor and Zachary.
 
Funeral services were conducted by the Wilfred Armitage Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny. A funeral mass was held in St. Stephen’s Church, Kearny. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, make a donation to the First Tee, 425 South Legacy Trail, St. Augustine, Fla., 32092.
