COFFEE TIME: April 8. I hope that you're joining me for my daily Coffee Time.I'm enjoying sharing what's up with me, maybe a chuckle here and there and probably wondering where did this crazy gal come from. Reach out to me to let me know what you think. Today was my 22 day post.


(10) Morning, Grab a cup of your favorite beverage, mine's coffee. Today I'm using my face cup. It's the black and white one with the big red smile, eyes with long lashes, and a red spot on it's nose...it always brings a smile to my face. HISTORY: This is the first day I've posted on this site but is my 10th post. All the others are on Classmates.com if you want to catch up. Also, this is my second cup of coffee. My alarm clock Ying (my cat) pets my face between 4-5 each day. CALMING: Last night I had a hour long concert in my living room before I went to bed. No TV or other distractions. I found a cellist that I've fallen in love with. His name is Hauser and one of favorite songs one My Way. Also, Hallelujah was pretty powerful. His music is beautiful and so calming. Check him out. CHRISTMAS BOOK: I was working on my book yesterday in the pet section. The first pet I remember was a cocker spaniel named Jack Black Brown. When he needed to go outside he would say "out" and other words where "Huba Huba". Aren't pets the best. I think Ying is trying to figure out why I'm home all the time. I'm open to questions. COFFEE TIME: (11) Morning, I have my black and white Zebra cup, filled with coffee and ready to spend a little time with you. CATARACT: I mentioned the other day about the miracle of my surgery. No glasses for reading and distances. There is a downside though. I noticed the other morning that within a three hour span at the hospital that the doctor had added several wrinkles. Well worth it. HAPPY HOUR: I had happy hour after dinner last night. I maybe have 4-5 drinks in a year. Haagen Dazs has the Spirit ice cream. My favorite is the Praline Bourbon with the Rum Tres Leches running a close second. Kind of spendy but worth it. YUMMY: My white thumb has been in overdrive. Usually bake once per month. Baked up a batch of shortbread thumbprints. Other recent yums...peach tart, brownies, hot fudge, lemon pound cake. So, I decided I needed to start exercising. I touched my toes 20 times and tomorrow I think I'll try to do it standing up. Closing for now. Any ideas, suggestions or a hi will be welcome. Reach out to someone. Take care of yourself. Mikki

Good morning...
Thanks to whoever came up with this website idea...what a great way to still stay somewhat connected to the people who shared those school years.
I'll be back later to do a little bit about what's happened and what's going on with me during my journey.
