I cannot describe how sad I am to hear of Lorna's passing. In my many years on this earth, I have never met a more brave and courageous person than Lorna. Throughout her illness, when I would visit or call her, I never once heard her complain about all she was going through; about the countless tests.....having to wait day by day, week by week to find out the results.  Not once. Instead, with her beautiful smile, her beautiful heart that I will always hold dear, she would put on a brave face with her wonderful smile and talk about the good things in her life. It will always be a mystery to me why very good people seem to pass way too early. Lorna was the epitome of peace, love and kindness. Linda and I will miss her greatly.  Michael and LInda DeMartini

Lorna was even more beautiful inside than she was from the outside; so kind and brave. It was always a joy to be around her and I am so happy we were able to reconnect from the last 2 reunions. Despite her illness, she was actually consoling ME on my husband passing from cancer a year ago!

What a genuine loss for her family and all of us.

My heart goes out to Jack and the family.  I had the biggest crush on Lorna in high school.  She picked the better man.  I''ll miss her.

I feel so very sad hearing this news!  Lorna was such a beautiful, sweet and loving spirit both during our school years and then later when she and I lived near each other in San Jose.  Every time I think of Lorna Singler I automatically think "lovely lady".  She will always be remembered fondly.  My condolences to Jack and her family.

Thanks, dear friends, for your heartfelt comments.  It's been a rocky week, and I hardly know where to begin.  I was unaware that Lorna was struggling.  Once my neighbor, Lorna is a rarity we're blessed to have known.

I too was hit hard by Lorna's sudden passing after so many months of painful treatments and apparent recovery.  Lorna came vividly back into my life when she moved to the Santa Cruz area where I live and we spent many happy afternoons sharing meals, walking in the countryside, and talking.  My oldest daughter was diagnosed with cancer shortly after Lorna's diagnosis, and so both of them have been in my daily thoughts through both of their battles.  (My daughter is so far holding her own.)

I will remember Lorna as most of us last saw her - vibrant and happy on the dance floor at our 50th reunion. Marlene

I was very saddened to hear of Lorna's passing,  She is at peace now with no pain or suffering,  What a hole in our heart it leaves to the rest of us who knew her.  She was truly a sweet person to all who knew her.  I'm glad we had a chance to converse some at the class reunions,  Only two words come to mind when I think of Lorna "Classy Lady."  She leaves a lot of good memories for all of us.  Thoughts and prayers to the family.
