Donna died of a heart problem in January 2006. She is survived by her husband Scott and daughter Elizabeth who reside near Darlington, Wisconsin.
Donna had a dry sense of humor and was a good friend. After we graduated and had children, it was fun to see her bargain-hunting at garage sales! I didn't know about all of the world traveling she did until we went to her funeral. Mark and I couldn't help but cry, thinking about our own mortality and how hard it would be to lose your spouse and the mother/father of your children.
