Bob Boan

I have had a fascinating life. I've served my country professionally. I've worked on a spacecraft in the shuttle cargo bay. unfortunately, I was on hand that cold day in January 1986 when the space program was blasted backward 10 years. When asked "If I could be anywhere doing anything I wanted what would it be?" my answer was on an orbiting vehicle in space performing a science experiment. I regret I never got to space; I had a program get within a few days of being selected to fly on the Shuttle.
I've had the opportunity to be involved in six patents. I've published science papers and books and fiction books and have completed the 1st draft of a science fiction novel on 12/31/13; hopefully, it will be published this year. I'm doing final edit (I believe) on another novel I wish to have published this year.
I've ben fortunate enough to be an invited speaker/panelist at a variety of science/scifi conferences around the country and Europe. I've seen a large % of the globe, making interesting acquaintances.
I've flown across the US w/many celebrities; Red Shelton was by far my favorite.
