Karen Messinger

Karen Kay Messinger Hacker, 36, of Bentonville passed away February 3, 2007 at her home.  She was born October 15, 1970 in Columbus, Kansas.  She moved to Arkansas in 1976 where she attended Bentonville Schools, graduating in 1989.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Garfield.  For the past 16 years, she worked for Arvest Banking Operations in Lowell.  She enjoyed canoeing, watching movies, listening to music and Napoleon Dynamite.  She is survived by her daughter, Madison Hacker of Rogers; mother and step-father, James and Mary Lou Teeselink of Garfield; father and stepmother, David and Becky Messinger of Girard, Kansas; sister and brother-in-law Brian and Tina Carnes of Abilene, Texas; maternal grandmother Carolyn Denslow of Strong, Arkansas; paternal grandparents Roger and Sandra Messinger of Olathe, Kansas and Art and Dawn Richards of Minnesota.
