It's really nice being able to look through everyones profiles and see what they have accomplished in their lives. Looks like everyone has done really well for themselves! I actually didn't feel too old until noticing the majority of classmates waited to start their families...I always swore I would never have kids...well not sure what happened there now I have 5 but wouldn't trade them for anything. Now I find myself giving them the advice we always heard.."you will grow up soon enough" bleive me that is soooo true, where does the time go.
Unlike the rest of you I really couldn't wait to get out of school, although I'm not sure why I didn't have any plans at the time. I was stupid and dropped out of BHS in April 1988 just didn't think I could do another 6 weeks. Instead I ended up going back and getting my GED several years later. Luckily I have very intelligent kids that will finish school and go on to college. With all the changes the world is making without a college education they wouldn't get anywhere.

It's strange being in our parents positions having to lay down the law for our kids. My oldest has tried to pull of some of the same excuses I can remember using, either my parents just played stupid and didn't care what I was doing or they really didn't know. But in this case I have been there and done that and over my dead body will I let my daughter! The world has changed sooo much since we were in school it is scary!
After trying to get OUT of school I am in a school everyday. I have been very active in my childrens education, have worked as a family advocate for the last 3 years, PTA president of our elementary school and put the first PTSA at our Middle school.

School Story:

20 years and 5 kids later my memories are foggy...We had the most awesome marching band!! It was a blast being a member of it, loved the trip to play for the Buffalo Bills and visiting Niagra Falls...I do have photo's somewhere of that trip. Wasn't a party type person mainly just hung out with Diane Maisey (anyone know where she is at) and Marie Mazucca, they were the greatest friends. Lots of memories with them:) Always enjoyed the peppiness Tracy Page had!
I can remember a few parties held at Diane Maisey's house but sure couldn't tell you who all was there.
