The Bergen County Council of Churches is a coalition of churches who minister in Bergen County since its establishment in 1953. The Council provides a central meeting for all Christian Churches of Bergen County. The Council serves as a primary interface with the County government and services. The Bergen County Council of Churches is the only Council of Churches in the State of New Jersey. The Bergen County Council of Churches seeks to be a channel of grace whereby the Christian Community can fulfill the words of Jesus found in Matthew 25:35-36:

Athletes in Action is affiliated with Campus Crusade for Christ International. Since 1966, AIA has committed to sharing a Victory beyond Competition that is found only in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Since 1986, The Interreligious Fellowship for the Homeless of Bergen County, now Family Promise of Bergen County, has played a pivotal role in serving thousands of Bergen County's most vulnerable citizens - homeless, hungry, and needy families and individuals. Their mission is to provide hospitality to the homeless and keep families together in times of crisis, shepherding them through temporary periods of homelessness by helping them create an achievable vision and develop a strong foundation for self-sufficiency.
