How did you spend your 50th birthday?

At Gruene Hall (oldest dance hall in Texas; and gateway for every C&W music star in last 100 years) along the Guadalupe River, same place Nolan Ryan had his 50th. Good enough for hall of famer, good enough for me.

School Story:

Going to A&W for lunch, especially Tuesdays for Coney Day. Also, Dominico's after football/basketball games. That Road Rally thing we did. Adam's Hill.

Bicycling, country dancing, water activities (but not doing enough of it still), ice skating, basketball, gardening, stock market, reading.

No, but sister Allison is in Dearborn with her family, and Nancy in Fenton with hers.

If you could tour the high school..what would you look for while there?

To see if those windows on the Sunnyknoll side still pop out and are concealed by curtains so you can make a Tastee-Freez run and be back before the movie is over.

Awesome reflections on high school. Could've been written by Hunter S. Thomson or maybe inspire a scene in Breakfast Club. Learned a lot about you from reading it. Good insight of youth partially mis-spent in ways similar to some, and different than others.
