Let’s see, what’s happened since graduation in 1989? I started my college years in Milwaukee where I attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering for 1.5 years. During that time, I managed to tear up my right knee, just like I had my left in 1986. So by 1992 (at the age of 21), both of my knees had been surgically repaired for torn ACL’s.
In 1992, I graduated from Morton College with an Associate’s degree, and began attending DeVry. In November of 1994, I graduated from DeVry with a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Management. One week later I started working for S&H Citadel (used to be the green stamp company) doing computer/network support. After about 3 years wish S&H Citadel, I started a new position with a spin-off company, when S&H Citadel shut down. That company was SHC Direct (a loyalty marketing/rewards company – ie. incentive programs you might find in your credit card statements). After about 1.5 years with SHC Direct, I moved into my current position with the Plainfield School District doing network administration.
I have been happily married since 1996 to Dawn Salerno, and we have 2 wonderful children – Brian (born in 2000) and Rebecca (born in 2002) that occupy most of our time one way or another.
