Come join us for our reunion at Positano Restaurant on Fairmont Avenue in Bethesda.  We'll be in the Plaza Room, which has its own separate street entrance, bar, and dance floor.

There will be passed hors d'oeuvres, a hot buffet station (Italian), and an OPEN BAR from 7:30 to 10:30 (beer, wine, call/rail drinks, premium liquors and cordials, soda, juices, milk, coffee, and tea).  After 10:30, the bar will convert to a cash bar.

We also have a DJ who will be playing our favorite songs from our high school years and a great dance floor so that we can relive Friday Night Dances in the cafeteria.

Parking in Bethesda can be tricky, but Positano does offer valet parking.  Otherwise, a cab is always a good idea!

This will be a great opportunity to bond with old friends and we look forward to seeing everyone there!

CASUAL LUNCH/FAMILY DAY FOR EVERYONE

There are so many people to see and catch up with that one night is never enough. On Saturday, we'll be having a casual (indoor) lunch/picnic/family day at Champions FieldHouse in Rockville, MD. 

This is an event for EVERYONE....not just those with families and children.  We'll be inviting some teachers from our B-CC days as well, so that'll also be a lot of fun for everyone. 

Alumni are encouraged to bring your spouses and children to this event for a few hours of fun:

• Soccer games (parent/child; child/child; parent/parent...whatever!)
  
• Basketball games
  
• Moonbounce
  
• LOTS of space to run around
  
• Lunch and drinks will be served for everyone starting at 12:00 noon.  We will be getting Ledo's (pizza, subs, chicken tenders, drinks, etc)
  
• A special visit from the uberpopular GREAT ZUCCHINI (who happens to be Eric Knaus, Class of '89) at 1:00 p.m.  If you aren't familiar with him, The Great Zucchini is a magician and childrens' entertainer who does an interactive magic show that the kids go wild for.  He'll also spend some time after the show playing games with the kids.  This will be a great time for kids up to about age 9 (or possibly older).  It's fun for the adults, too, if you can tear yourself away from your classmates.  For more info, visit www.thegreatzucchini.com

CASUAL SATURDAY NIGHT MULTI-CLASS GET-TOGETHER

Saturday, November 27, 2010 starting around 8 p.m.

Finally, we'll be arranging a casual, come-if-you-wish get-together on Saturday night, which will include alumni from many different class years.   This is not an "official" part of the reunion weekend (i.e., not part of the cost), but is just another chance to celebrate and see other old B-CC friends who you won't get to see at our Class of '90 reunion.  Starts around 8ish until whenever.

The costs below are PER PERSON (so if you plan to bring your spouse or partner, please be sure to purchase 2 tickets) for the reunion weekend (all events included). 

The absolute deadline for all payments is November 19, 2010 (one week before the event), at which time all fees ar due to our vendors.

CLASS GIFT

It is customary to give a class gift as part of the reunion.  Contributions to the class gift are VOLUNTARY.  If you wish to donate to the class gift, please check the amount below and include with your payment (I have included various donation amounts, so please check whichever one you would like). 

(I apologize for the funky numbers....we get charged a 4.9% fee for credit card payments, so the figures provided allow for a flat $5,$10,$15, etc. donation once the service charge is taken out).  If you pay by check, the donation will just be the flat dollar amount ($5,$10, etc.).

We will contact Karen Lockard (current Principal of B-CC) and solicit her input on what is most needed by the school at this time.

UPDATE AS OF SEPTEMBER 23, 2010

There will be a B-CC Tour on Friday, November 26 at 10:00 a.m. for anyone interested.  No need to RSVP...just be there at 10.  Should be fun!  Come see the new and updated B-CC....very different from our days there.
