Chase D. Garfinkle

Went to Montgomery Blair instead of BCC to attend the math/science magnet. On to Stanford after graduation, stayed on for six years to do a BS and MS in computer science, and I've been in the San Francisco bay area ever since. Worked at Silicon Graphics for a couple of years after grad school, then got the start-up bug in '97, and I've been at six, mostly early stage start-ups since, doing software development and management. I'm currently doing my second stint at Shutterfly (also my third start-up). I met Nanda Berman in late 2001, we got married in May 2006, and now live in Oakland CA, with two rescue cats and we're expecting a son in July.

And yes, my parents still live in the Mushroom House!
