After B-CC, I went to Virginia Tech and got my BS in fisheries science. I spent my early 20's in DC working odd jobs and logging too much bar time. Then a near-fatal moped accident landed me in a wheelchair for six months, but gave me lots of time to think about stuff. When I recovered, I started doing volunteer work at the National Aquarium In Baltimore. Eventually, they offered me a job and I started my career as an aquarist aka aquarium biologist. I bought a townhouse in B-more and met my wife-to-be Julie who also worked at the aquarium. After living in the city for five years, I got tired of the crime, pollution, and lack of parking. I took a job at the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut, got married, and now live in a small town in the sticks.
