I went to Barnard College and Columbia School of Social Work. I live in DC on a houseboat. I've been here about 7 years. I do school-based mental health in elementary charter schools. Met my husband through work 10 years ago and got married in 2002. We have one daughter and one black lab.
School Story:
I left for 2 years (4th and 5th grades) to live in Algiers. Coming back in 6th grade was an adjustment. In 1st to 3rd grades, my best friend was Koko Nogami. I remember a Japanese dance she and her sister did at Westbrook in Kimonos with faux cherry trees in background.
