Since 1900? That's a long time. Well, I started off graduating from MSU Bozeman in Accounting and getting a job in Colorado Springs for Grant Thornton LLP - an audit firm. I was there until July 1999, when I then moved to Roseburg, OR to be the Director of Finance & Administration for Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino Resort. I moved with my girlfriend at the time (Penny) and her daughter Chloe. In 2000 we were married (secretly - even ask my family). We then had our daughter Evelyn (we call her Ivy also). We decided we needed to up the family size so we adopted three kids from the same mom - Fantasia, Rain, and Ocean. We brought them in as foster kids in November 2004, and officially adopting in July 2006. In August of 2008 we packed up and moved to Ruidoso, NM to start my new job as the Chief Financial Officer of the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino in Mescalero, NM. Beautiful resort, but unfortunately, it didn't last.

So, I came back to Oregon to be the CFO of ANOTHER casino near Klamath Falls called Kla Mo Ya Casino. It's only 2 1/2 hours away from Roseburg. Then, in August 09, I landed a job IN Roseburg to be the CFO of a non-profit organization that is dug deep in the community with helping the low-income, needy, and down-troden. That organization's name is called UCAN (Umpqua Community Action Network). That panned out for nearly 7 years, then, went to work for the local newspaper, then, a guy who had a few companies in the construction and trucking industry. NOW, hopefully, I'm in my retirement job - working for the Siletz Tribe in Oregon. BTW - all these jobs have been as CFO. Yeah. Same thing, different company. But, love it.

I thought the most fun event(s) that I was(were) a part of was going to the basketball games as a Senior as the "Rambeaus". The state championship in Havre(?) was really fun. Highliters was awesome. And, my most favorable moment was in the last home football game against Glendive, I beleive, where I was on kickoff return, we were getting beat and they kicked an onside kick right to me. I was tackled by 9 of the 11 guys on the field and didn't feel a thing. They lost the football too. I must have taken it off the field and put it somewhere, but I didn't remember. Damn, I wish I could get a copy of that tape.....
