Linda Jean Krenelka, age 61, left us to serve the Lord, from Billings Clinic, on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009.

Linda was born the second daughter of Kenneth and Betty Gray on March 25, 1948, in Casper, Wyo. She married Kit K. Krenelka I on May 15, 1971, in Billings. Kit and Linda had two children, Kit II (Wendy) and Kay (Chris). Surviving Linda are her husband; children; her three siblings, Sue (Howard) Schroeder, John (Sue) Gray and Mary (Tim) Haupt. Also surviving are Linda’s numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Linda’s honors and hobbies included president of Theta-Rho, graduated Senior High in 1967 and graduated from Eastern Montana College in 1969. She was employed with Mondak Chemical (11 years), 4 B’s Restaurant (20 years), St. John’s Lutheran Ministries (two years).

Anyone who had the opportunity to know and work with Linda would agree with Margo Fonteyn’s quote, “Take your work seriously, but never yourself.” Linda was always armed with bright eyes and a smile.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, at St. John’s Lutheran Ministries in the Ocee Johnson Chapel at 3940 Rimrock Road in Billings. Refreshments will follow. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Ministries.
