Mark Charles Mitzman died Thursday, April 9, 2009, at the age of 59, after recently being diagnosed with lung cancer. Born Aug. 2, 1949, in Billings, the third son of Harry and LaVerne Mitzman, he attended school in Billings, graduating from Billings Senior High in 1967. He attended the University of Montana, was a member of the National Guard and joined his family business, Yellowstone Beauty Supply, in 1971.
Mark is survived by his mother, LaVerne; brothers, Skip and his wife Kris, and Bud and his wife Carol, all of Billings, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry.

Mark's passion in life became playing cards and he traveled many miles, as far as Costa Rica and as close as Doc & Eddy's, to be in the game. Hey Brother! May the chips be piled high, and the river running in your favor.
