Robert Slayton

Robert ‘Bob' Dalon Slayton, 62, of Billings, passed away on Thursday morning, Feb. 3, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bob was born March 3, 1949, in Billings ,to Richard K. Slayton and Marion Hanson.

He attended schools in Billings and graduated from Senior High School. Bob then enlisted into the United States Air Force. After he was honorably discharged from the Air Force Bob got his realtors license and worked in property management for thirty years. During that time he initiated as an Entered Apprentice in Masonry on April 3, 1986. Bob passed to the Degree of a Fellowcraft on May 6, 1986, and he was raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on May 28, 1986, in the Pryor Mountain Lodge No. 151. Bob was a current member of Ashlar Lodge No. 29 and the Al Bedoo Shrine. He was avidly involved in the Al Bedoo Shrine it was an important part of his life. Bob was a Shrine Clown, a member of the Oriental Band, and the Cushman Patrol.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard K. Slayton.

Bob is survived by his mother, Marion Wilson; brother, Ron (Becky) Slayton; his two sons, Rob (Andrea) Slayton, Rich Slayton; and his two grandchildren, Alexandra and Gage Slayton all of Billings.
