The 2028 Shearer~Lawson Family Reunion will be hosted by our Detroit Chapter, and we're excited to announce that we'll be traveling to the beautiful province of Nova Scotia, Canada!

This reunion is especially meaningful because our own Kenyatta and his wife, Misty, who proudly calls Nova Scotia home, will be welcoming us to experience the beauty, history, and culture of her homeland. What better way to explore a new place than through the eyes of family?

Known for its breathtaking coastal views, picturesque fishing villages, rich maritime history, iconic lighthouses, fresh seafood, and warm hospitality, Nova Scotia offers the perfect setting for creating unforgettable family memories.

🌍 One thing you can do now: If you don't already have a passport, or yours is set to expire, now is the perfect time to apply or renew it. A valid passport will be required to travel to Canada, and getting it taken care of early will make planning much easier when registration for the reunion opens.

Our Detroit Chapter will be sharing more details as we get closer, but we couldn't wait to let everyone know where our family adventure is headed next!
