Greetings fellow family members. Welcome to the (new)Shearer/Lawson Family web site. This web site is designed with the purpose to re-establish contact with family members, now that we are scattered all over the country.

Personally, I have lost contact with many of my family. Many are deceased and many are getting older. Many are retired, but with the advancements in information technology, it is now possible to establish contact electronically. Tiffany has 2 sons Travis Ian and Jeremy Isaih and she is currently a student at Bryant Stratton college majoring in nursing. My daughter Katrina is a junior at Shaker Heights H.S. and will graduate in 2009.

Hello Family; This is a wonderful idea. I've found that we read our e-mails and text messages more than we answer our phones, plus it's less expensive. It is our plan to make the reunion this year if we're not paying 5.00 a gallon for gas (smile). The family is well. There is a new addition to our family, our son Stevie II has a 1 month old daughter. Her name is Sanyia D. Freeman. My wife Renee and I can't stop kissing her. Stevie is transfering to another college to play football his last two years and Melanie will be graduating December of this year. Looking forward to reading more updates and seeing you at the reunion. Stevie & Renee

She has one daughter, Yananda Marie Lawson, with one son, Sederice LeCharles Rusaw, all of Dothan, AL Our mother was Myrtlene Battle/Jefferson Lawson of Wilcox county. Hello family members I am the daughter of Hannah (Shearer) & John Mobley. I just wanted to say , Junior I am very impressed with the work that you do to keep our family united. When I looked at this website it totally brought tears to my eyes, it is so good to see my family that has passed on but not forgotten. I am really having a hard time dealing with the recent deaths of my mother (Hannah), and my aunt (Missy). I look forward to meeting some of my family that I have not met, and those that I haven't seen in quite a while. I am married to a wonderful man Kenneth Haywood, I have five children, my son Quovada is a junior at Florida State, my daughter Chanel is in fourth grade, my nephew Martice is in 10th grade, my step-daughter Kennetta, is a sophmore at Wayne County Community College, and My step-son Terinail. I am the grand daughter of Martin and Iphenia Shearer. Me and my family are looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion in June.

I am the daughter of Thomas Shearer, granddaughter of Willie and Betty Shearer of Uniontown, Al. I had three daughters, one of whom is deceased (Angela Koen) and I have nine grandchildren. I would like to know more of my family. When I was younger I could name all fourteen of my father's sisters and brothers and all of their children ( all 75 of them). Now I don't know half of the offsprings because they are so many and spread so far apart.

Hello everyone! I am the daughter of Iphenia Robinson Butler, granddaughter of Naomi Jean Brand Robinson. I have two children; Jahmod 2 and Jaida 1. I must say that this website is wonderful. I love what you have done with this site. When my grandma get out of the hospital, I will be sure to show her this site. Im sure she will like to read comments from the family and that she will like this site even more. It would be nice for her to communicate with family members that she hasn't seen or spoke to in years.
